Lots of opportunities for lovers of coding and engineering

The St Aloysius’ College Engineering Club offers a range of STEM-based activities to students throughout the year. The club offers both school run activities that the boys can get involved with at lunchtimes and after school as well as courses run by external partners after school and during holiday times on the College premises.

It is important to note that the Engineering Club is not an official co-curricular activity at the College, so involvement is in addition to their summer and winter sports commitments.

Activities include:

  • Introduction to Unity Game Engine
  • Code Camp: The College partners with the Code Camp company to provide regular holiday coding programs on the College premises.
  • LEGO Robotics – Soccerbots – competing in RoboCup in August.
  • Python Coding for the NCSS Challenge using the online coding program Grok Learning
